Kathy Estep

I was born in upstate New York and moved to Ohio when I was in high school.  I loved the quiet small town atmosphere of Mad River Township and have made it my home ever since.  I married my high school sweetheart, Bill and have two sons, Ben and Matt; a daughter in law, Kerry; and a grandson, Sasha.

I consider myself very lucky to have chosen a profession that I loved, teaching Social Studies at Greenon Local Schools. Throughout my life I have tried to be of service to my community. That led me to serving on the Enon Village Council in the nineties and twenty years serving as Mad River Township Trustee. I am currently on the Clark County Educational Service Center Board. This allows me to continue contributing to the education of young people in Clark County.

The proposed quarry came to my attention when I was still a Trustee and I soon began working with CAM.  I firmly believe that this quarry will negatively impact and threaten the quality of life for all residents of Mad River Township and surrounding areas. I serve on this board to do my part to stop it.
